About the Journal

The academic journal “Metamorphosis of History” is an online periodical publishing research articles of leading Russian and foreign historians. The materials of the journal are intended not only for specialists, but for all those who are interested in the issues of world and Russian history.

The journal publishes research articles on the following topics:

• world history;
• Russian history;
  
• history of international relations;
• historical aspects of international security;
• history of World War II: countering attempts to falsify history;
• Russian-Belarusian relations in historical retrospective;
• historical regional studies of foreign countries;
• intellectual history of foreign countries;

The Journal's founder and publisher is Pskov State University. Its main partner is the P. M. Masherov Vitebsk State University. One of the main objectives of the journal is to contribute to the formation of a unified academic community of the Russian-Belarusian borderland and to create an open platform for international communication and exchange of scientific information and the results of basic research in the History field.
